Bridge Street Hair Co is a local salon that provides a variety of services from hair to nail care. They are known for their friendly staff that serve men, women, and children of all ages. Their focus is “building, maintaining and rewarding relationships with our clients and our community through knowledge, wellness and superior customer service”. The salon has a comfortable, welcoming, and classy atmosphere that we love!
Lindsey, the owner, came to Michigan Imagery looking for a way to update the façade of her building in downtown DeWitt. The building had recently been painted and she wanted some industrial modern, meets posh salon vibe.
We designed two window awnings with abstract, layered inserts. The awnings feature custom branding on the front edge, hand forged turnbuckles, and a unique and custom abstract pattern for the inserts. Combining flat black and a high polished silver gave the perfect contrast off the dark gray building.
Before and After!
We also created a steel and wood door awning for over the main entrance. Lumber was carefully chosen by Lindsey to hit the modern and eclectic vibe she envisioned. She choose an African teak, which we also used for a background behind the sign we created for over the door awning.
Lindsey’s sign was cut out from 14 gauge steel on our plasma table, then we welded steel banding to create a frame to attach the LED lighting from ColorWerz LED out of Highland, MI. The sign was powdercoated “Viking Silver” like the window inserts to bring an incredible contrast off the African teak, and ensure high visibility to the nearby intersection.
We are extremely proud of the work done for the Bridge St. Hair Co. and can not wait to watch her business thrive with a new exterior look!
